  State-of-the-Art Production Facility
   
 
PuraPharm has invested HK$200 million to develop its advanced Chinese medicine factory in Nanning. This, the second GMP standard Chinese Medicine factory in Nanning Hi-tech Development Zone, was classified by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and SFDA as a "core development center of modernized instant Chinese medicine granules."

The production plant incorporates the efforts of leading architects, engineers and pharmaceutical plant design specialists from Canada, Australia and Japan, and meets the GMP standards of China, Japan and Australia. It is recognized as one of the most sophisticated, well-managed Chinese medicine manufacturing plants in Asia.

The entire production line at PuraPharm's manufacturing plant adopts the latest Japanese technology, with 80% of processes fully automated. The productivity of this production line out-performs other plants of the same class by 300%-400%.
   
   
 
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

Nong's manufacturing facility was constructed in strict compliance with China's GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standard. The accreditation of GMP certification indicates that Nong's products have achieved the standards and quality required by the Chinese government. Companies that fail to obtain the GMP certification are not allowed to produce pharmaceutical products. Nong's manufacturing facility is also compliant to GMP standards of Japan and Australia.
